After that we did some geocaching and found three of them. The best one was FALLEN OAK, which was hidden in a beautiful spot, along side of a large pond, on the property of a church/school. We found it easily enough, in spite of the red ants that were all over the place. But the best part was that I got to see two alligator in their natural habitat for the first time.
Then we picked David up and headed back to Hilton Head. We had supper at the OLD OYSTER FACTORY where they had a BOGO...............buy one bucket, get one free and/or buy one basket get one free. We ordered two baskets and two buckets.............what a LOT of food...............every bit of it absolutely delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller were good!
the two buckets were great! This is the combination bucket.
but this one is the LOW COUNTRY BOIL and it was loaded with large shrimp!!!
It was a good opportunity to try LOW COUNTRY BOIL: shrimp, andouille sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes. We also had two baskets, one with short rib sliders and the other one with chicken wings. Both of those came with really good French fries. We could not finish everything!
It was a great day!!!!!
