LONG BUFFALO DAY 6/16/17

Once again, Mary Ann and I took advantage of FREE FRIDAYS, sponsored by M and T Bank.  Today is the third Friday of the month, so admission to the BUFFALO HISTORY MUSEUM was free.  We arrived around ten a.m., at opening time.  We decided to check out the JAPANESE GARDEN before going into the museum, since it was probably cooler early in the day.
Then we went into the museum and we enjoye the three floors of exhibits immensely!   Here are a few pictures.
I particularly enjoyed the TIM RUSSERT exhibit.

Then we decided it was lunch time and we found PRIMA PIZZA. Actually, it was another case of finding a parking spot first and then finding a nearby place to eat.
We both had one of the lunch specials: a small meatball sub which came with a bag of chips and a small drink.  The sub was pretty good.
It was still early so we decided to go to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site.  We had a bit of trouble finding it.  We both got in free with a Senior Pass for the National Parks.

This museum was magnificent.  There was a lot of info about the Pan American Exposition on the first floor.  The historic home where Roosevelt was sworn in as president still has a couple of the original pieces of furniture.
This office is set up exactly like his office in the White House.
On the way home we stopped to check out the SHACK ON DELAWARE, but it appears that it has closed down.  I am sorry I missed it.
One last stop PAULA'S DONUTS for the third time in three weeks.
